1. The traditional element I used in this piece is a drawing base so I could add more detail having hand to paper contact instead of it being transferred through the tablet.
2. My process included drawing the original reindeer on paper than tracing it onto the computer so I could color it in. I came up with my idea by looking through old ideas of mine and some friends ideas and decided to do a deer. I eventually made it into a snowglobe and finally added the rudolph part at the end before I finished the piece. 3. What made my piece difficult was the nose because I had to use a multitude of different colors to get a glow-like effect. 4. I found the nose part of my piece to be very successful because I was able to make it more realistic than just a glowing red ball while still keeping the innocent glow of his nose.
