1. There is no personal connection to either of these projects I was just brainstorming and thought they would be fun to try and film.
2. For the clay there was nothing difficult to create, however in the people it was very hard because I had to be very careful not to put my body anywhere the people would be otherwise there would be overlapping in the project. For others I recommend marking spots to aid you in your placement to avoid overlapping, that's what got me through my project.

1) Clay- For this idea I will be the still image while the clay will be spinning on the wheel
2) Branch- This image will be still picture of outside while a branch in the corner is blowing in the wind 3) Water Fountain- This image has a still picture of a person drinking from a fountain while the water is still flowing 4) Soda- This image has someone holding a soda bottle while the soda is flowing out from the top 5) Crowd- In this picture a crowd is still with a person walking in front of everyone entering and leaving the screen 1) My theme for this project was fall and it evolved because from the start I planned on doing a maple leaf and when I added the sticks and pumpkins I realized it changed into a fall theme.
2) Out of my three favorite patterns the leaf is probably my favorite because I really like the difference in color that the stick and pumpkin lack, purposefully. 1. my process from start to finish first starting with drawing key movements and then acting them out to help form them in my drawings below my frame area. After that I draw some in-betweens and the first frame as well. FInally I begin to animate my project and use my diagram to aid while slowly transitioning to the next key frame. 2. In my animation, I used almost every principle of animation except for squash and stretch, appeal, and solid drawing. 2)Anticipation- This element is used in the animation when the person begins to pull their arms together and lines around the body are shown signifying stress. 3)Staging- When the bag catches on fire everything else is basically paused to keep focus on the burning bag 4)Pose to Pose- Pose to Pose isn't directly shown in my animation, but when planning it out I used pose to pose to make sure I had my movements correct. 5)Follow Through- I used this element when the person's arm is retracting back into its original position, then after they power up, while waiting for the arm to come back. 6)Slow-Out and Slow-In- While the person is punching the arm goes in fast however slowly comes back to show the person's embarrassment. 7)Arc- I used arc to help guide my arm's movement to make it flow. 8)Secondary Action- I used secondary action when I had the aura flow while a piece of it drifted away toward the bag at the same time. 9)Timing- Timing is shown when the aura goes away and for a few frames nothing happens, but then the bag spontaneously catches on fire. 10)Exaggeration- As the person punches and realizes they missed a large drop of water and blushes come up to exaggerate and focus of the person's embarrassment 3. I think stop motion is a very old fashioned, but useful, way of animating. This is because it introduces you to animating and shows different ways of drawing body movements. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghkSDtZwhEM This is my original story board however I changed my idea so after creating it, but just went with whatever was in my head instead of creating a storyboard. This is because it was much simpler and I was able to easily remember it. 1. The traditional element I used in this piece is a drawing base so I could add more detail having hand to paper contact instead of it being transferred through the tablet.
2. My process included drawing the original reindeer on paper than tracing it onto the computer so I could color it in. I came up with my idea by looking through old ideas of mine and some friends ideas and decided to do a deer. I eventually made it into a snowglobe and finally added the rudolph part at the end before I finished the piece. 3. What made my piece difficult was the nose because I had to use a multitude of different colors to get a glow-like effect. 4. I found the nose part of my piece to be very successful because I was able to make it more realistic than just a glowing red ball while still keeping the innocent glow of his nose. .1. I picked the product I did because I felt like a creepy product would have been a ice twist since not many people would have taken that turn, so I felt that it gave me a little more originality.
2. To design my piece I had to incorporate many things such as color and background choice. I tried to relate as much as I could to the title of my piece "Laughing Gas", and because it was based of the iconic batman villain, the joker, there are a lot of omage's to the icon, such as the mouth having lips shaped like a bat and the green and purple color scheme. Aside from this, there was also a lot of smudging and shading to do, one of which was making the lightning bolt blend in with the picture. To do this I kept the bolt and the source and smudged the outer rim to give it a green tint so it blends in with the background. 3. I feel like the most successful part about my project is the creepiness. I feel like it worked out perfectly with the theme I tried to incorporate, and I wouldn't change anything about my project. 4. I wouldn't change anything about my piece, I feel like it turned out much better than I thought. Process: My image first started as a camera taking a picture of something, but slowly changed into my final result which was a photo showing through the back of the camera. It wasn't a drastic change, but I feel it was one that definitely changed my project for the better. As I went through my project I first did a rough draft on Photoshop but then drew it on paper, so I could upload it onto the computer and trace it there, making it much easier to digitize. After I made sure to be double sure people knew what club my drawing was based on so I added a plane sending a message that said "Arts & Photography" to promote the club. After that I added small people scattered everywhere showing how popular it is and colored it in.
